We are pleased that the Conference in Riga was carried out successfully and provided an excellent opportunity to meet colleagues from neighbouring countries in Latvia.
During these three days, from September 13 to 15, participants had a great chance to discuss current work issues, as well as to share their experience on the aspects and challenges of implementing the new Common Agricultural Policy measures in each member state. Main focus during the Conference was to share thoughts about the work with the monitoring system, area payments and controls, as well as to discuss the importance of artificial intelligence in agencies daily work.
In his address to colleagues, director of the Rural Support Service in Latvia Ģirts Krūmiņš emphasized the importance of mutual cooperation and support we provide to each other.
We already are looking forward to meet all the colleagues in the next year’s conference, which will take place in Estonia, Tartu!
