On October 15 of this year, the Rural Support Service of Latvia (RSS) welcomed representatives of the Department of Phytosanitary Safety and Control of Crop Production of Ukraine. RSS specialists presented to their Ukrainian colleagues main achievements - administration of support measures and payments, maintenance of IT systems, as well as the most important aspects of electronic application.
Department of Phytosanitary Safety and Control of Crop Production of Ukraine operates as part of the State Service on Food Safety and Consumer Protection (SSUFSCP), which is responsible for food safety, animal health and plant protection, as well as phytosanitary control in the country.
Representatives from Ukraine visited Latvia within the cooperation project of the State Plant Protection Service of Latvia.
