The farm “Rīgmaļi” is located in Abava Parish, Talsi Municipality, and over the years has grown from a small farm into a large two-sector enterprise. Since 1995, Māris Bērziņš and his wife Juta have been developing the farm, providing ten jobs for local residents. Their sons, who have been learning the farm work since childhood, also participate in the farm, providing significant support in daily farming activities. Currently, Rīgmaļi manage more than 1,100 hectares, developing two main sectors – grain and dairy farming. The majority of income comes from grain farming, mainly winter wheat and winter rapeseed.
